Last week, we featured the inside of Florida Street Church. Today, we’ve got a view of the front with the baptismal tub. They are a small church, trying to make a big impact on the Glenwood community.

If you look in the background, on the right, you can see Hope Academy peeking through. It used to be a church, Florida Street Baptist Church– established in 1958. Florida Street closed in 2017 as the congregation declined from 1,000 members to about twenty. Perhaps when the new mixed-use community, The Arbors at South Crossing, gets built just down the street, Florida Street Church will grow from their congregation of about twenty-five.
