The Great Gatsby was performed at the Steven Tanger Center for the Perfrming Arts this past week. The singing, acting, sets, music, sound, lighting, dancing, and everything about it was on point. There have been many great programs at Tanger this fall. This was the show we’ve attended where many attendees noticably dressed the part. Flapper dresses– the iconic 1920’s garments, designed to facilitate dancing– were worn by many.

We hope you have a chance to attend something at the Tanger. Wicked (Nov 18- Dec. 6) is the next Broadway show to be performed there. Many other venues have live music and performances, too. It is great to see Greensboro support the arts. Treat yourself to a live performance, or two.
