Pumpkin Patch at Mt. Pisgah Church

(Sorry for the late publication. We have no idea what happened to this post).

Tis pumpkin patch time at many of the local churches. The above photo features the pumpkin patch at the Mt. Pisgah Church, located at the corner of Battleground Avenue and Pisgah Church Road. The pumpkins look beautiful by day and by night. The church is already on its second delivery, an indication that sales are going well. Prices range from $6 to $35 dollars and the cause is worthwhile.

The patch is open from 9:00 am- 7:00 pm. This year, they’ve added corn stalks and butternut squash. Church events like this teach children responsibility and how to interact with the public. They also see, firsthand, what goes into earning money for the projects they undertake. The sale will continue through the end of October or until they run out!

Happy Sunday!
