We know First Presbyterian under renvation has been featured more than once on Greensboro Daily Photo. However, walking by, we are continually struck by the sight of a cloaked church. The sheath of vinyl (?) begs the question of what is happening inside. That white cloud is great contrast to the nearly black rooftop.
The Elm Street side of the church looks beautiful. The church was built in 1928-1929, nearly 100 years ago. Here’s hoping the current exterior maintenance will protect it for another century or so. It is on target to be completed in 2027. Here is a 30 second WFMY-2 video of the church from a drone view.
Happy First Sunday of October!
