Tomorrow is the day of the annual Art Walk & Studio Tour in the Westerwood neighborhood. This is the one day a year the public is invited to visit the in-home studios of artists who live in the Westerwood neighborhood. Participating homes are well market with a sign at the curb. It was founded in 2009.*
Y If you scroll to the bottom of this page, you can see the map of participating studios as well as the names f the 27 artists. The above photo was taken at 905 Fairmont Street, a street with five participating artists. We just loved the way the entrance arbor frames the house and gives you the feeling that you are, indeed, entering a little world all of its own. The “tour” is self-guided and happens rain or shine. ou can park at Mimosa and Fairmont, or in the parking lot of the First Baptist Church. We hope you will attend the event, possibly purchase the art and make the artists glad they work so hard to make this event so special.
Happy Friday!
