This home, built in 1929 is located at 6124 Burlington Road between Sedalia Elementary School and the Palmer Institute. While it is almost 100 years old, based on the growth in th Sedalia area, we’re betting that this property will sell for the nearly two acre lot. To date, it has always been a private residence. According to online records, there was an attempt to sell it in 2020, but the listing was removed. It last sold in 1990.

The view from the road was so lovely this past Saturday, with the filtered sun lighting up the lawn. We can just imaging people sitting on that front porch shelling butter beans and playing music. It would be nice for local historians to gather information about these places of yesteryear that document life in the betinning of the 20th century. We’d love to see inside.
