Phillips Chapel at Canterbury

The above photo features Phillips Chapel on the Campus of Canterbury School at Lake Jeanette. This 600-seat place of worship was dedicated 23 years ago in 2003. While it isn’t evident from this exterior shot, this gothic-style chapel is shaped like a cross.

The outside and grounds are lovely; but, we’ve been told that the themed, stained-glass windows are beautiful and there is even a rose window. We hope to attend some day to see for ourselves. Phillips Chapel is the keystone building of the Canterbury private-school campus where students attend three days a week and on special occasions. It is also possible for the community to rent it out as a wedding venue. When we drove by last week, we were impressed at how well maintained the grounds are even during the summer, well before school begins in August.

May you have a blessed Sunday everyone!
