We love this view of Greensboro, with the mural in the background announcing that the location is, indeed, Greensboro, NC. Featured in the foreground, at 511 South Elm, is Jim Gallcci’s 9/11 Memorial. The 22 ft. sculpture actually features steel from the fallen Twin Towers. It was installed in 2017.

This is the first time we are noticing the planters filled with canna lillies. Also, the seating is a nice addition. We’re not very good at reading tagged writing, but we’re wondering if the person(s) who left their mark realize the significance of the site to the community.
