Happy Fourth of July! This year, Fun Fourth/Freedom Fest starts on July 3rd with a block party from 5:30- 9:00 p.m. in Hamburger Square (corner of South Elm and McGee, where this photo was taken). The celebration continues on the 4th with the Freedom Run at 7:30 a.m. in LeBauer Park. Freedom Fest kicks off on Elm Street from 1:00- 6:00 p.m. with stages of live music, food trucks, water slides, basketball tournaments, and carnival rides.

The official city firewords show takes place downtown at First National Field, promptly at the end of the Greensboro Grasshoppers home game! The above photo features the door to Little Brother Brewing. We love the way the woman’s dress matches the colors and energy of this lovely door.
