This is not a stunning sunset, but it is special as it was taken at 8:51 p.m. the other night. The longer hours of daylight are the gift of summer. That orange in the sky shows us how daylight just didn’t want to let go.

The photo was taken at the Greensboro Country Club’s Farm Course. We love walking around wide, expansive spaces of green as they are so peaceful. With no street lights or townhouses and fireflies flickering, it is easy to forget that this is actually the city limits. Happy July! Summer is in full force.
