Here you see the back side of Governmental Plaza in Greensboro with the iconic Lincoln Financial Group building in the background. On the internet, Government Plaza is described as a prominent complex of government and public spaces. The architectural style, desined by Eduardo Catalano, is brutalist. The complex was officially completed in 1973. The placa includes the Melvin Municipal Building, the Courthouse, the McDonald Plaza, the Guilford County Courthouse, and the Millenium Gate.
The plaza on the other side of the complex is available for reservations to host gatherings, rallies, and community events. However, you have to request use of the space (see HERE). The plaza has recently undergone repairs and waterproofing, so that it will be safe to use for another 50 years! If you have children, it is meaningful to walk them around (at least) the perimeter and tell them what happens in each of the buildings.
