If you love a nice front porch, Spring Garden Street in the College Hill area is full of them. This house at 912 Spring Garden was built in 1905. At one time, it was a private family residence; however, in recent years it appears to have been used for student housing. From what we can tell by the exterior, it is well maintained and looks like a place where students would enjoy spending time together.

College HIll is a very walkable neighborhood and this area of Spring Garden Street and is located squarely between UNCG and Greensboro College. These days with more light are very conducive to talking long neighborhood walks.
