Today is the second annual World Promenade at Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden. Formerly the Parisian Promenade, this event was renamed to be more inclusive of the diversity of Greensboro. Greensboro Beautiful and the City of Greensboro’s Parks and Recreation Department work together to host this event that features music, arts and crafts vendors, opportunities to learn about the beauty of the park, and a pooch parade.

The setting is lovely. As you can see in the above photo, there is plenty of shade for those who like to stay out of the sun. There should be several flowers in bloom. You can eat from the food trucks or bring a snack to enjoy while there. The free event will take place from 1-5pm. See HERE for more information.
