According to the Seek app that identifies plants, this is a Virginia pine, located on the Battleground Avenue Side of East Lake Drive. It is very mature and the width, near that lowest knot, we are estimating to be about 6′. We’d love to know its age. The house on the lot was built in 1924, making the house 102 years old. Virginia pines usually start declining as they approach 90, it is possible for them to live up to 150 years.

It is so nice to see neighborhoods with mature trees, and Westerwood has some. For being so close to town, East Lake Drive on the edge of Lake Daniel Park sure looks tranquil. This is a good bike riding street. Head to Cycles de Oro for the 6:00 ride this evening.
