If we hadn’t told you, could you have guessed this is the First Presbyterian Church of Greensboro? We are so intrigued by this wrapping. Had we not known better, we would have wondered if it were a Christo and Jeanne-Claude piece. The church as been wrapped to repair mortar and to waterproof the building.

BLUM Construction has the contract. According to the company’s timeline, they were established in 1923 in Winston-Salem and in 2015 expanded to Greensboro. Fortunately, it is possible to hold services in the sanctuary during this maintenance. The work should be completed late-summer 2026.
