The above photo features the AC Hotel by Marriot under construction at the corner of N. Eugene Street and Bellemeade Street next to the baseball park in downtown Greensboro. It will be a nine-story, 159 room hotel located across from First National Bank Field. The new parking deck is behind it. This whole section of town is part of the Caroll at Parkside project. This whole part of town is unrecognizable from before the ballpark was built. It has changed significantly over the last few years.

The weekends (when no ballgame is in town) are a great time to drive by and have a look. Hopefully, the new parking deck makes parking easier for people who want to go downtown.
