The above photo represents some pre-Easter fun last Sunday when children gathered at Guilford College UMC to participate in an Easter Egg Hunt. This egg hunt has been a Guilford College UMC tradition for many years now. The back lawn, on the Ballinger Road side, is a perfect gathering place for hunting Easter eggs, as well as other outdoor activities. Before the hunt, the younger children were playing in the “gaga ball” pit. We learned from the first graders about this fast paced dodgeball game played in an octagonal pit. After the hunt, children gathered for an Easter story.

Tomorrow will be a big church day for all Christian families. Attendance will be high at churches, children will have new outfits, churches will be filled with flowers; after church, houses filled with special meals.
