Sunrise over New Garden Road & a Little March Madness!

Here is the view from a mid-week commute at the intersection of New Garden Road and Horse Pen Creek. We’ve just passed Harris Teeter on the left and St Paul’s Catholic Church on the right. The colors were intense at sunrise, but faded quickly as we drove along Bryan Boulevard.

We hope you have great plans this weekend and that the weather is as lovely as predicted this weekend. It should be a lovely weekend for working in the garden and planting those edibles. The birds and bees will thank you.

No rain is predicted until next Saturday. Today, the moon is waxing crescent, at 35. It is Eid. Here is a really nice graphic from the Old Farmer’s Almanac, in case you want to plant according to the phases of the moon. Also, this will be a big basketball weekend. If you are watching NCAA games, there have already been a lot of upsets. College ball at its best!

Happy Friday!
