It is the weekend and Fridays are a great day to watch the sunsets. This one is from Wednesday and not especially speactular. However, we love this time of year, when the days start getting longer and the trees are getting a little more sleep before they start budding out.

The above photo was taking at the Wal-Mart parking lot on North Battleground Avenue*. The westward view from the parking lot can be spectacular as one exits the store. About a year before Greensboro Daily Photo started, Skywatch Friday was a blog that published sky shots from all over the world. We thought we’d start linking to them again.

Hopefully, this weekend, we’ll have a chance to walk one of the trails around one of the lakes, or at Bur-Mil, or even the greenway downtown. We do need to go and check out the new artwork.
