“The Blue Candle Mystery” sounds like a book in the Nancy Drew series. On Sunday afternoon, we were driving north on Elm Street, near Cone Hospital, and there was a box of household items out on the street. The items looked like a box of unwanted items from someone who was moving.

On the wall, beside Forbes & Dick Funeral Home and across the street from Child Neurology someone had placed this blue candle. We were struck by how much it resembled the windows in the building across the street. Where is Nancy Drew when you need her? We can’t think of anyone else who could solve this one.
