Yesterday, as we were downtown at Chandler’s, we were thinking about downtown and third spaces. Where do you like to to to get out of the house, meet up with people, hang out a little, and maybe work but not be at work. Coffee shops are a great option and there are many of them downtown.

Chandler’s is an example of a third space that works hard to help everyone feel welcome and to help build community. The artwork on the wall is community-made art and for sale. You can sit around, surrounded by art, and work in solitude or with others. We really enjoyed our time there and also the fresh cup of coffee. It was actually easy to find a parking space. Locally owned spaces have so much character. Please visit a locally-owned establishment soon!
