Urgent Church is located at 5935 Burlington Road (East Wendover) at the corner of Knox Road. We have always loved this location because the water tower has Greensboro displayed prominently. This church bills itself as “a community focused church aiming to connect people to God and each other.” They provide community support in many ways, including distributing food, fresh bread, and produce. They opened their doors on August 1, 2018.

Thanks to a Greensboro Daily Photo post in 2011 (see here), we learned that formerly, this building housed Twin Oaks Ministry. This area has changed so much. Years ago, there was a house on this property. We wanted to drive out this way to see if the roads were clear. From what we saw, roads are clear even though some snow remains on the grassy areas and wherever piles were stacked. So, If you are heading to church today in the Greensboro area, you should be safe. Look how blue that cloudless sky was yesterday.
