Clothesline Vintage

Hannah opened Clothesline Vintage in early December 2025 and is living her retail dream. She and her partner Mikael have been selling at pop-ups and markets, mostly in Durham and Raleigh, for years. They had been looking for a brick and mortar location in Greensboro. When they saw the availablity of a space at 1940 Spring Garden Street, they jumped on it. Hannah wanted a space that was a manageable size, and to rent from a local owner, as opposed to a corporation. Her dream became reality in the location at the opposite end of the Spring Garden Bakery building. About 70 years ago, Mr. Paul Holliday built the one-story, brick building (formerly housing Holliday Hardware and the shoe store). It is now in the hands of his adult children.

Hannah likes to have special sales and themed collections. Currently, Clothesline Vintage has lovely options for Valentine’s Day. An end-of-winter sale will happen the last weekend of February. If you like one-of-a-kind pieces, stop in and have a look. There is ample parking in the back of the building. Store hours are Thursday-Saturday 11am -8pm and Sunday- Tuesday, 12 noon-7pm (closed Wednesdays). Those evening hours are popular!

Happy Friday!
