NH Farm, with their horses and carriages, had a spectacular showing at the MLK Parade on Monday. After the parade, the riders brought their horses to a lot just before Elm Street and let people see the horses and get their picture taken with them.
The farm, located at 3214 McConnell Road beside the NC A&T University Farm, gives riding lessons, has funeral coaches, and is available for parties and parades.
In 2024, the caisson carrying the casket of Mayor Pro-Tem Yvonne Johnson to Pfeiffer Chapel on the Bennett College campus came from NH Farm. Guilford County has a long-standing equine tradition and, at one time, had more horses than any other county in North Carolina. NH has some beauties in their herd.
Happy Thursday!
