We finally got to visit the Guilford County Schools (GCS) Central Office building at 714 Green Valley Road. GCS  purchased the building, formerly the ITG Brands building, in an effort to consolidate offices and maximize resources. The building dates to the mid-1990s when it housed Lorilllard Tobacco and we originally featured it in 2015 (see HERE). The four story building is part of the Green Valley Office Park. According to the Business Journals, GCS paid 9.5 million dollars for the property, located on 7.7 acres. The building is very well maintained and there is ample parking. 

With several departments across multiple buildings consolidated here, it should serve the district well for decades to come.  The timing of the transition is perfect as students in traditional schools will be back in session on Monday, August 25, 2025. Before you know it, it will be Labor Day, then fall, and the leaves on the trees surrounding the building will be a blaze of color.
