Here is a list of upcoming events on the lake, made possible by the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Greensboro. Our personal favorite is the night paddle by moonlight. They just had one on August 7th, but the next one will be on August 21st. Lake Higgins will have a night paddle on August 13th and 27th and Lake Townsend on August 19. Participating in one of the night paddles can become a summer tradition. If you head to the lake today or for one of the upcoming events, we hope the water is as calm as it was the day we took this photo.
