Green Tree Frog: Nurturing the Flora and Fauna of Greensboro

Today is our “Sacred Sunday” where we post something spiritual/religious, often a church, but always food for thought with respect to nurturing the spiritual soul. While the Bible tends to speak negatively about frogs. The Book of Exodus, specifically chapter 8, describes the second plague inflicted upon the Egyptians. The Lord commands Moses to tell Aaron to strike the dust, which will turn into frogs that infest the land, houses, and even the beds and kneading troughs of the Egyptians. However, Psalms 104:24-25 references the vastness and diversity of God’s creation. Let us stop and appreciate the diversity and vastness of the flora and fauna in Greensboro and do what we can to nurture it.

Happy Sunday!
