Today, we’re heading back down to the 600 block of South Elm Street and showing you the back side of the buildings that face Elm Street. We were walking from Lewis Street behind the South End Brewing Company onto Bain Street. We’re not sure who the artist #Cut50 is, but it appears they were the person who painted this wall. We’ve been looking into characteristics of entrepreneurs and this sign reads “An entrepreneur is someone who will jump off a cliff and assemble an airplane on the way down” Reid Hoffman.
This area is very near the north/south railroad tracks at South Eugene Street. It is amazing what you can find in the city, and downtown, when out exploring. While most murals have some kind of message, they aren’t always as transparent as the ones above. With the heat wave lately, you might want to go early or later in the day. It stays light so long now… and it is Friday!
Happy summer!
