Mitchell’s Grove Methodist Church had the above float in the Veterans Day Parade in Downtown Greensboro last week. Mitchell’s Grove, located in High Point, was founded in 1827, making it one of the oldest churches in Guilford County. This church is very active and dynamic.  They have lots of events, including youth groups, a backpack initiative for Union Hill Elementary School, hot dog Thursdays, Bible studies, praise band practices, and more. If you are looking for a Global Methodist Church  in High Point, this is a good one to visit. The height of attendance were the online services during COVID, soaring to over 450 people.

Their impressive Veterans Day float came at the end of the parade, just before the final entry, the police motorcycle quartet. The float was memorable in that participating veterans were listed by name with their branch of service mentioned on the signage. We hope you have a happy Sunday.
