Yesterday, we posted an interior view of the “She Care Wellness Pods” at Bennett College. In retrospect, we should have started with a more comprehensive view. However, we were so excited to get to meet with the manager, Yvon’ne Lyle, that we selected a close-up of a the interior of a pod. Yesterday’s photo was of the pod on the left,  There is a second small pod on the right, and the bigger pod is to the right. The bigger pod accommodates small groups, and, on warm days, the patio area can be used for yoga and other outdoor activities. There are umbrellas for super sunny days to cover the tables. There are so many fabulous initiatives happening at Bennett College. We are so lucky to have this historic institution in our community.

Initially, there is funding through Kate Spade & the Boris L. Hensen Foundation.  Let’s hope the pods are around for a very long time and that the community supports this initiative to help with community mental health and wellness needs, from Bennett Belles and beyond.
