Today is the last Saturday in June, which means it is almost July 4th and summer is well underway. The above photo was taken on Battleground Avenue at Edney Ridge Road in the plaza where Aldi is located. The scene got us smiling. Somehow, a fireworks tent and a new stand-alone Starbucks store seem like a strange combination. But, we all need our holiday traditions. Fourth of July and fireworks, for some; Starbucks coffee for some. Just maybe both for some… and then again, neither for both. Diversity is what keeps Greensboro interesting
