Here is another view of LeBauer Park on Thursday evening. This view is at Lawn Service by Little Brother Brewing. It is one of  two permanent kiosks at the park. It features a full-service coffee bar, beer, ciders, wine, and more. Baked goods and ice cream are also available At least in the summer, they are open Monday-Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. which means people can get their morning coffee and stop by for happy hour after work. They also sponsor the Thursday bike ride and music events. It is a good “third space,” that is a place other than home and work to meet up with friends and other people who like to be outdoors.

In the background, you see the 90′ sculptural net by Janet Echelman (read more in Our State Magazine HERE). According to this Jeri Rowe, LeBauer Park hosts about 450 public events and 50 concerts.  We imagine that number increases every year. If someone doesn’t know where to meet a friend, they can always suggest in the center of the Echelman net, at the sit down bar at Lawn Service, on the bit letters that read LEBAUER PARK to name a few options.
