The Friendly Avenue Church of Christ at 5101 West Friendly Avenue has a new light up sign where the message changes after about a minute. Indeed, it draws attention, making you fix your eyes on the church. It is a large lot located between Lipscomb Road and Westland Drive and across the street from Trinity Church. Friendly Avenue Church of Christ is a dynamic congregation that hosts many events and has local and international ministries. They have a community kitchen partnership with Greensboro Urban Ministries.  One of their upcoming mission trips is to the Dominican Republic. They also offer a Spanish service at the church. On Thursday, March 28th at 6:00 pm, they will hold a Messianic Passover Seder.
