This izakaya-inspired establishment looks nice by day, but with pops of neon lighting, Yokai looks especially inviting at night. Izakaya is the Japanese version of what the Spaniards call tapas. The goal it to be able to drink and nibble at the same time. The food serves as a point of conversation. Yokai celebrated its grand opening on September 12th. It has already been open a month! Walk by and have a look, or even try it out if you are downtown for the Veteran’s Day Parade today.
Happy Veterans Day!
