Saturday Night: Greensboro Ghost Tour

The above photo was taken in the little alley between “Baked” and “Greensboro Day Spa” in the 200 block of South Elm Street. This alleyway is so charming and photogenic. The above group was one of the Carolina History and Haunts Ghost Tours. In this 90-minute tour, you hear where some of Greensboro’s departed inhabitants are said to live. Even if you don’t believe, a ghost tour is a really fun way to get to know a city. Sometimes when we walk around downtown, we not only think about people who came before us, we also think of the energy of the business that were there beforehand. For example this is the very spot where we would sit when visiting the Simple Kneads Bakery. And then, we would go to Chakras for a little pampering. Chakras was one of the early businesses in Greensboro to be decorated and appointed keeping Feng shui in mind, with the goal being for people and the surrounding environment to harmonize.

Book a ghost tour and gain a new perspective on Greensboro.

Happy Thursday!
