Uncle Sam is alive and well on South Elm Street. This photo was taken at the Fun Fourth Festival, but we wanted to make sure it got posted.  Uncle Sam was gregarious and did a great job engaging with the crowd. Downtown is so much fun when there are people out and about. There is so much to do this weekend. We hope you are taking advantage of all the options. There is an Eastern Music Festival event at 4pm today in Dana Auditorium on the Guilford College Campus. MUSEP tomorrow evening is at Gateway Gardens on East Gate City Boulevard.
