A Love Lock Sculpture has been installed at Eclectic by Nature on State Street. Customers, and people passing by, are encouraged to add a lock. This work of art is especially beautiful with all the diverse locks being added to it.  Lovers  are really adding some interesting locks and these are not just your PE locker Masterlocks. Of special interest are the brass, lion lock (upper left) and the clear plastic lock, bottom left. Also, the above photo shows the mural of State Street behind the sculpture. There is so much art and visual interest in the EBN garden.

If you haven’t noticed lately, State Street has absolutely blossomed. From the North Elm Street end to the Church Street side, there are many new businesses and they are all full of holiday goodness. The new kid on the block is Bull City Ciderworks, just down the street from Eclectic by Nature. Another neighbor is Vida Pour Tea, a big contributor to the revival of State Street. However, Eclectic By Nature is one of the “grandparents” on State Street. While not always in this location, EBN will celebrate their 19th anniversary on Saturday, December 18th. Last time we were in, we were offered a cup of tea. We’re betting they still have that same tradition. So, as you plan out your weekend, stop in and wish the EBN family a happy anniversary, put a lock on the sculpture, and let a little magic happen.
