Good morning, Greensboro! Are you walking more during this time of distancing? We sure are! On a walk yesterday evening, we spotted this mug discretely placed on the ground, beside a tree on the edge of a golf course in northwest Greensboro. The whole story about how it got here is a curious mystery. 

In a way, these times we are living through are like something of a previous century when people found ways to entertain themselves without leaving home. Sure, we have the internet and social media now. Yes, in an odd way, we can sit around and ponder things that might never be given a second thought when we are home less. To be sure, we’re going to follow the mystery of the blue and white porcelain mug. It is in perfect condition. Does someone drink from it daily? Did someone forget it when they were doing yard work nearby? Did someone leave it simply to make us curious? I it a purloined mug? So many questions and so much imagination during this time of quarantine.
