Just in time for the New Year, we have restocked our supply of Baby Bolo’z: A Taste of Cuba salsa. George Lopez, above, is the creator of the special salsa. He makes many flavors from mild and savory to sweet to hot. The key ingredients are cilantro and peppers and he doesn’t use tomatoes. However, you can mix the salsa with just about anything you want. It can be used in cooking or eaten straight out of the container. 

While he is known for the salsa, George is a fabulous chef and can prepare just about any dish you might want: Cubinis, empanadas, and pineapple pastries are some of his specialties. George works out of this kitchen at 2805 B Pinecroft Road behind Four Seasons Mall. Call George before you go to put an order in and make sure he is open. Usually, he is open Wednesday – Sunday, 11-7pm, but may have special arrangements for special orders. 908-577-7539. 

George can cater to any dietary needs and especially loves helping people who are working hard to be or stay healthy. At 55 years old, when not working, he is often see skateboarding around the neighborhood teaching the young kids some skateboard moves- proof positive that his cooking is just what the doctor ordered!
