Gray Skies

We are less than two weeks away from the true start of winter and days like yesterday remind us that winter is on its way. The above photo features the sky at about 4:45 pm on Mill Street, facing Battleground Avenue. The sky was dark and gray, even though the temperature was unseasonably warm- in the high 50’s.

It is easy to feel a little down on gloomy afternoons. However, for a pick-me-up, head to Sunset Hills to see all of the giant balls of Christmas lights up in the trees. The neon red in the background is Kickback Jacks, also a reminder that it may take a little more work, but we can find light and color, even on gray days. Happy Wednesday!
