Yesterday was a glorious day in downtown Greensboro.  The streets were full of people not only enjoying the weather, but also trying out the food of over fifty food trucks. The trucks were set up on Market, Greene, and Elm Streets. The above photo was taken on Market Street across the street from the Lincoln Financial Group’s building.

While the trucks are barely visible in the background, what is visible are people out on the streets enjoying the day.  In addition to great food for sale, there were plenty of free activities for children, including this giant Connect 4 game in front of the Stumble Stilskins Sports Bar.

These ever popular food truck festivals are held on Sunday afternoons so that they are not in direct competition with the brick and mortar establishments, many of which are closed on Sundays; although, if you notice, Stumble Stilskins was, indeed open. Hopefully, the day was profitable for them too, as they have great food!
