When the temperatures soar to almost 80 degrees in Greensboro on an early February day, you never know what will happen. Yesterday, a man , playing a drumset, was seen at the corner of Battleground Avenue and Pisgah Church Road. During the 4:00 p.m. hour, he was jamming, full steam ahead, in a spot that seemed to be perfect for the equipment. However, he was not set up in a place conducive to getting tips or earning much recognition.

The drum set says “Imani Pressley”,  and Imani is a local singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer. However, the above photo does not appear to be Imani. While the whole scene was quite mysterious, the music was quite enjoyable and perfect for a sunny, near-80 degree afternoon along Battleground.
