Happy New Year 2019!

Each January 1st, members of the City Daily Photo community, worldwide. are asked to post their best photo of the year. This year, we selected the January 12th Shabbat Service at Temple Emanuel, honoring Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It shows the cohesiveness of the Greensboro community, centered around the desire to have an equal and just society. The event attracted a diverse group of citizens. While the quality of the photo is not great, the event is a powerful and positive memory. It is our hope that 2019 will bring great things for Greensboro, that our community will continue to grow in ways that will bring us all joy, and we will work hard to support each other.

If you didn’t have an opportunity to read GDP much this past year, here is a curated selection of photos from 2018. With all the lovely people, places, and events in Greensboro, it was hard to select just one a month. With so much to see and do in Greensboro, and being motivated by our readers, we are inspired to continue bringing you a photo a day in 2019.
