Greensboro Daily Photo has been a member of the City Daily Photo community for almost 8 years. The first day of the month is theme day and November’s theme is “out of focus”. To our knowledge, this is the first time for that theme. Blurry photos were much more common before the digital era. Digital cameras almost don’t let you take blurry photos. Do you recognize where this photo was taken in Greensboro?

It was taken in Greensboro during this past winter, just south of the railroad tracks on the east side of South Elm Street. The waterpower in the background is located at Bennett College. As you can see, it was taken at sunset and people were out walking their dogs- probably a First Friday. We like the mood, in spite of the lack of focus.
