G is for Greensboro

This view of Greensboro’s skyline was taken from the parking lot of the Yanceville Curb Market near War Memorial Stadium. The street is Homeland Avenue. The photo shows how Greensboro’s urban landscape transitions rather quickly from high-rises to two story housing. We get the benefits of a small city and the joy of lost of open, green space. Of course, the anchor building is the JP Building, now known as Lincoln Financial Group. Then spring comes our way, this view will be a lot more colorful.

Today is ABC Wednesday and for our A-Z Urban Finds series, “G” is for GREENSBORO, and green, and Guilford (County) and GREAT place to live.
