CPG, based in Cleveland, Ohio, is trying to expand in the Southeast. In September of 2014, they opened a new terminal in Charlotte and provide international container drayage over to the Port of Wilmington. Seeing these operations causes one to wonder how on earth items can be hauled from China to Greensboro, land in a Dollar store, and still only cost a dollar! This would be a fun project for children, to follow the supply chain, tracking merchandise as it moves through Greensboro.
