Curb Appeal on Northridge Street

The Lindley Park neighborhood, built on a former lake and amusement park, dated back to 1917. It is located near Lindley School, Holden Road, and the Greensboro Arboretum. The above 1,300 square foot house in Lindley Park is at 701 Northridge Street. Built in 1928, is it representative of the houses in that neighborhood, a lot of character and curb appeal.

Lindley Park has a very active neighborhood association with special events, a great website, and older editions of the neighborhood’s newsletters archived online.* The neighborhood was named after John Van Lindley, a Quaker businessman who lived in the late 19th century/early 20th century. He would be proud of the vibrancy of this neighborhood on the land he used to own. Happy Friday, dear readers.
