Common Grounds

Summer is such a great time to get out and meet people in the community. In the above photo, Molly is behind the counter at one of Greensboro’s great local coffee shops: Common Grounds. The shop is located on Elam Avenue, at Walker Avenue,  in the heart of Lindley Park. Up by the coffee bar, Common Grounds looks tranquil with its muted, sepia tones. However, as hinted by the technicolor entrance, this is a lively place where you can do everything from listen to music, play board games, play pool, record videos, vinyl toys, and so much more. They truly are a hub of activity for the Lindley Park neighborhood. Every neighborhood deserves a great coffee shop, especually one within walking distance.

Molly came to Greensboro as a UNCG student and she loves it so much here she decided to stay. She also loves making people feel welcome at the coffee shop. So, if you get a chance, stop by and order up a cup of java and converation. After that, sit back and let serendipity take over! Happy Thursday to all!
