
Since we’ve been featuring the Central Library some lately, we’ll add this photo that was taken from just inside the library. In the upper left-hand corner, the “face” of the children’s museum is looking over at the flags as the people walk under them. Can you identify the flags in the photo? There are people from so many countries living in Greensboro. We are really becoming diverse.
The staff members at the Center for New North Carolinians, located in Greensboro, are experts on ethnic diversity in North Carolina. They are experts in cross-cultural human services and in providing culturally and lingustically appropriate services to immigrants and refugees living in North Carolina. Seeing all of those flags, representing the diversity of Greensboro, reminds us that global is the new local!
