The above little yard and house, located on Horse Pen Creek Road, is one of those yesteryear scenes: Small house, large front porch, swingset for children and grandchildren, truck and car in the large side yard. Best of all, pear blossoms are in full bloom. If you get a chance this weekend, drive around and enjoy all of the blossoms and early signs of spring around town. It will be about a week before the cherry tree blossoms are in full bloom in Washington, D.C. As for Greensboro, we are looking beautiful now.
